Retired: Truck Driver AUGUSTA, Ga. - Mr. Donald Lester Teasley, 67, husband of Phyllis Rawls Teasley entered into rest on Tuesday, July 18, 2006 at Heartland Hospice. Funeral services will be held in chapel of Hatcher, Chance & Hydrick Funeral Directors at 10:00 A.M. on Thursday, July 20, 2006 with Reverends Fred Heard, C. W. Edwards and Charles and Maxine Whisnant officiating. Interment will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Andy McNair, John Clark, William Shelton, Justin Shelton, Guy Quinn and Lorenz Quinn. Other survivors include his son, Gregory Donald Teasley (E.J.) of Augusta; daughter, LeAnn Teasley Anglin (John) of Hephzibah; brother, John A. Teasley (Judy) of Evans; sister-in-law, Jane R. Teasley; nieces, Jennifer J. White and Stacy J. Arrington; three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Mr. Teasley was predeceased by his brother Tracy S. Teasley. Mr. Teasley was born in Augusta to the late Jesse H. and Lessie E. Ivey Teasley. He was a member of Mize United Methodist Church, the Cawley Sunday School Class and past member of the Methodist Men Club. He served in the National Guard and was a member of the Teamsters Union.
