Virginia Dare Duckworth, born August 20, 1937 in Lamesa, TX to Myrtle Mae and Erving Burton Koonce, passed away December 3, 2011 from this life leaving behind a family who loved her deeply. She goes on to join her husband, Donald; son, Jack, Jr.; parents; brothers and sisters.
Those left to remember her are daughter, Ginny and husband, Tim of Center Point; son Shannon of Lubbock; son, Don of Houston; eight grandchildren, Marie, Deana, Samantha, Shanna, Carly, Aaron, Amber, Cory and Shane; seventeen great grandchildren whom she thought the world of. Also left to remember her are sister, Sally and husband, Henry (Tailight); brother, Don; brother in law and wife, Ronald and Sarah. Plus many more family members who will miss her.

She worked at Nu Accents of Kerrville and loved meeting the folks who came in. She will be missed.

Rest in Peace Momma a.k.a. Granny Duck! We love you and will miss you greatly.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, December 6, 2011, 5-6:30 PM at Grimes Funeral Chapels.

Services will be held Wednesday, December 7, 2011, 10 AM at Grimes Funeral Chapels officiated by Dr. Joe Taylor. Interment will follow at Mountain View Cemetery.
