GERBER, Michael Passed peacefully with his wife Laura at his side, on Friday, December 23, 2011 at Nithview Homes, New Hamburg. Michael of Wellesley at the age of 92. Beloved husband of Laura (nee Schwartzentruber). Loving father of Ross (Jennifer) of Sturgis, Michigan and Keith (Joan) of Cambridge and predeceased by his son Douglas Rae Gerber in infancy. Dear grandfather of Seth Gerber (Sarah), Benjamin Gerber (Jenna), Keira Stevens (Arden) Aisha Gerber, Zach Gerber, Mikaela Gerber and great-grandchildren, Tristan Gerber and Maxwell Gerber. Will be sadly missed by his brother, Steve Gerber (Edna), sisters-in-law, Katie Gerber, Mary Ellen Gerber (Amos) and brother-in-law, Harold Schwartzentruber (Freda). Predeceased by his parents, Michael and Veronica Gerber, grand-daughter, Jade Gerber, brothers and sisters, Emmanuel Gerber, Aaron Gerber, Elmer Gerber, Annie Erb, Ida Stere, Rachel Bender and brother-in-law, Irvin Schwartzentruber. Michael was a founding member of Hidden Acres Camp and a member of Full Gospel Businessmen's Fellowship.
