Dennis Lee Abell, 75, of Lebanon, died at 6:30 A.M., May 28, 1988, at his residence. Mr. Abell was a Marion County native, a retired farmer & a member of St. Augustine Catholic Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert L. & Theresa Catherine Lee Abell. Survivors include: his wife, Mary Josephine Caldwell Abell; one son, Thomas B. Abell, Louisville; four daughters, Mrs. William (Barbara) Brockman & Mrs. John R. (Linda) Mattingly, both of Lebanon; Mrs. John R. (Emma Rita) Wheatley of Springfield, & Mrs. Dan (Janice) Mattingly of Louisville; one brother, George Abell of St. Petersburg, Fla.; 22 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; several nieces & nephews. Funeral services were conducted at 11 A.M., May 30, at St. Augustine Catholic Church with burial in the church cemetery. The Rev. Ivo Cecil officiated. Bosley Funeral Home, Lebanon, was in charge of arrangements.
