Gary R. Williams, 53, of Miami died Wednesday, Jan. 31, 2007, at Saint John's Regional Medical Center in Joplin, Mo.
Williams was born March 1, 1953, in Miami to the Rev. Bob and Ann B. (Clowers) Williams.
He graduated from Miami High School. He lived in the Miami area all of his life.
He cured tires for B.F. Goodrich for 13 years. He owned and operated Williams Pest Control in Miami. He was a member of Southern Hills Baptist Church in Miami.
He married Sheryl Barnes. She survives, of the home.
Additional survivors include two sons, Floyd R. Williams and the Rev. Jeff Q. Williams, both of Miami; his mother, Ann B. Harris of Miami; one brother, Larry J. Williams of Vinita; two sisters, Trish A. Hoffman of Miami and Shauntel R. Highley of Vinita, and five grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father; his stepfather, Tom Harris, and his grandparents.
Services will be 10:30 a.m. Friday at Southern Hills Baptist Church in Miami with the Rev. Dale Neal officiating.
Burial will be in Glen Abbey Memorial Gardens in Miami.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 7 p.m. today at Paul Thomas Funeral Home in Miami.
