Larry J. Williams, 67, of Grove, OK passed away Friday, June 17, 2016 at Grove Nursing Center.
Larry was born July 12, 1948 in Newport, AR to Loniel (sic) Robert and Ann (Clowers) Williams.
He had lived in the Miami and Grove area most of his life.
He had worked at the Friendship House in Miami.
Larry loved to fish and sing.
He was preceded in death by his father Loniel Robert Williams and his step-father, Rev. Tom Harris and his brother, Gary Williams.
Survivors include his mother, Ann Harris of Grove, OK, 2 sisters, Patriia Hoffman and husband Jerry of Grove, OK and Shauntel Highley and husband Jeff of Vinita, OK, his aunt and uncle Eva and Chester Welch of Grove, OK, 2 nieces Dacee Highley and Linda Freeman and his nephew, Dwight Welch. Larry is also survived by his special fishing buddy Penny.
Services will be Monday, June 20, 2016 at 10:30 a.m. at Paul Thomas Funeral Home chapel in Miami, OK. Rev. Gary Mischler will officiae.
Interment will be in Glen Abbey Memorial Gardens in Miami with Jeff Highley, Jamie Highley, Jim Highley, Jerry Hoffman, Dwight Welch and Martin Deweese serving as pallbearers.
The family will receive friends Sunday from 3-5 p.m. at the funeral home.
