Alma L. Bedillion
Age 95, formerly of the Houston-Canonsburg area died on Wednesday, July 4, 2007 in Canonsburg General Hospital, Canonsburg, PA. She was born on October 6, 1911 the daughter of James Meredith and Elizabeth Grim Caldwell. Mrs. Bedillion was the oldest member of the First United Methodist Church of Houston, and at one time she was the organist for 12 years. She was past president of Chartiers-Houston Senior Citizens, where she was a member for many years. Her husband, Paul Bedillion, died in May 1980. Surviving are two sons, Robert (Patty) Bedillion of Canonsburg, PA and Richard (Carol) Bedillion of Finleyville, PA; five grandchildren Cindy (Michael) Lemonakis of Canonsburg, PA, Susan (Michael) Vivostak of Strabane, PA, Robert Bedillion, Jr. of Bedford, PA, Erik (Yoshika) Bedillion of Hartford, CT and Dr. Nicole (Chris) Crowson of Allison Park, PA; five great-grandchildren, Shawn Bedillion of Strabane, PA, Mindy and Christy Walker of Canonsburg, PA, Kacie and Cheslie Bedillion of Houston, PA; and three great-great-grandchildren. Deceased are three brothers Duane, Ralph and Bill Caldwell. Friends will be received from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. on Friday in the McIlvaine-Speakman Funeral Home, Ltd., 27 Cherry Avenue, Houston, PA 15342 where services will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, July 7, 2007 with Rev. Sank Kong Choi officiating. Interment will follow in ForestLawnGardens, McMurray, PA. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the First United Methodist Church of Houston, PA.
