Mr. Parks was a retired employee of Agway in Nichols, NY. He was a past president of the Rome Township School Board, past president of the Northeast Bradford School Board for the 1957-58 term and was a board member from 1954-1958. He was a past secretary of the Local Eastern Milk Producers Cooperative and a past Master of the Roman Masonic Lodge #418 F&AM and for many years served as a Bradford County Republican committeeman. Surviving are his wife, Isadore Phillips Parks, at home; a daughter, Mrs. Doris Krysiak, Westfield; a daughter and son-in-law, LaVeta and Duane Jennings, Granville Summit; four sisters, Mrs. George (Ida) Conrad, Rome; Mrs. Marian Schwartz, Lancaster; Mrs. Robert (Nina) Helm, Quarryville; Mrs. Marc (Geneva) Terzieu, Syracuse, NY; six grandchildren; five step-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews. The funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday at the Maryott-Bowen Funeral Home, with the Rev. Rebekah B. Sweet, pastor of the Rome United Methodist Church officiating. Interment will be in the Rome Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7-9 p.m. Thursday and from 1-2 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. The Roman Masonic Lodge #418 F&AM will hold Masonic services at the funeral home at 7:00 p.m.
