LYONS — Mrs. Ora Spaeny, 66, died Monday at Halstead Memorial Hospital. Born Aug. 6, 1906, at Alva, Okla., she was married to Ernest Spaeny, April 25, 1923, at Alva. He died May 2,1964. She lived here 50 years.
She was a member of the First Christian Church, Lyons; VFW Auxiliary; World War I Barracks Auxiliary.
Survivors are sons: Ernest, Jr., Riverton, Wyo.; Donald K., 209 Carey Place; sister: Mrs. Jessie Fritz, Los Angeles, Calif.; Mrs. Euphemia Fowler, Witican, Calif.; eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.
Funeral will be 2 p.m. Thursday at Crawford-Miller Mortuary, Lyons; Rev. David Branson. Burial will be in Lyons Municipal Cemetery. Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the mortuary. The family suggests
memorials to the American Cancer Society.
