A. E. Dutschke, Sr. Succumbs To Long Illness
Albert E. Dutschke, Sr., resident of Lodi for the past 42 years, passed away yesterday morning in a local hospital following a long illness. He was born at Ione and was 77 years of age. The deceased came to Lodi in 1901 from Ione and had made his home here since that time. He had been a member of Lodi Aerie of Eagles since 1912 and was also a member of the Foresters Lodge at Stockton. He was the husband of the late Mary E. Dutschke, who passed away 10 years ago. He was the father of Mrs. Clara Williams, Ione; Mrs. James E. Sanguinetti, Sr., Lodi; Herman Dutschke, Tracy; Albert Dutschke, Lodi; brother of Mrs. Emma McDonald, Sacramento; Mrs. Lillie Henderson, San Francisco; Mrs. Elizabeth DeMartini, Oakland; Wesley Dutschke, Stockton. Mr. Dutschke was also survived by seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Monday morning at 10 o'clock at the Chapel of the Wells Funeral Home with Rev. A. R. Boone, pastor of the First Congregational Church officiating. Interment will be in Lodi Cemetery with Lodi Eagles in charge of the graveside ceremonies.
