In the 1850 census she was living with Philip and Sarah Nelson at "Long Branch" in Clarke Co., Va. Since Philip had no know children named after his mother, Lucy Grymes Nelson, I suspect that she was the daughter of his brother, Francis Nelson. She may have been one of a number of Nelson girls running a girls finishing school. An additional tie in to "Long Branch" is that her sister, Francis Burwell Nelson (1810-1896) died there.
