The saddest part about his wife, Theresa Drexler is that she lived alone after his death. I found her in Dubuque County, Iowa in the 1930 and 1940 U. S. Censuses, living in Dyersville, New Wine Township, Dubuque County, Iowa, living
alone. None of her sons took her in and there is no burial record for her in any cemetery in Dubuque County, Iowa. I thought perhaps she may have moved to WI to live with her married daughter, but was unable to find any cemetery
records for her in Grant County, WI. She certainly had enough sons who could have taken her in.
