Mrs. Theresia Lieterman Drexler, 96, Dyersville's oldest resident, died at 2 p.m. Sunday at St. Joseph's sanitarium.
Friends may call after 7 p.m. Monday at the Steger funeral home, Dyersville, from which services will be held at 9 a.m. Wednesday to St. Francis Xavier church. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Mrs. Drexler was born Jan. 6, 1855 in Guttenberg, Ia. She was married April 14, 1874, to John Drexler at Dyersville, and the couple operated a farm near Petersburg, Ia. They retired in 1910 to Dyersville.
Surviving are three sons, Edward Drexler, of Herman, Minn., William Drexler, of Dyersville, and Anderw Drexler, of Fayetteville, Ark.; one daughter, Mrs. William (Mayme) Felder, of Bloomington, Wis.; 19 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Her husband, three sons, two brothers and two sisters preeded her.
