Mrs. Burgess came to Crystal Falls twenty-five years ago, from Yorkshire, England, and has lived here ever since, making her home with her son, John Burgess. She was a highly respected lady and well liked by all who knew her.
Mrs. Burgess was born in Yorkshire, England, on April 1, 1830, making her 83 years of age at the time of her death. She is survived by three children.
The funeral was held yesterday afternoon from the Episcopal church of this city, with interment in the local cemetery.
