Mrs. Minnie Jarvis
Services Thursday
Services for Mrs. Minnie M. Jarvis, 606 N. Madison, Elk City, were held at 2:30 p.m. Thursday from the Assembly of God church with Rev. Joe Calabrese, pastor, officiating.
Born April 7, 1876, in Barren County, Ky., Mrs. Jarvis died in a nursing home Tuesday, December 19.
Married to R. T. Jarvis on June 17, 1894, in Bellevue,Clay, Texas. Mrs. Jarvis had resided in the state 66 years and Elk City 12 years. She was a member of the Assembly of God church.
Survivors include two sons, Earl Jarvis of Weatherford, and Willard Jarvis a twin, Cheyenne; four daughters, Mrs. Sam Montgomery, Sayre; Mrs. Grant Jones a twin, Elk City; Mrs. Floyd Holder, Hammon and Mrs. N. C. Smith, Strong City. 28 grandchildren, 34 great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren; four sisters, Mrs. Tom Jordan, Mrs. T. H. Latham, Mrs. Bessie(sic) Walker, and Mrs. Bessie(sic) Eichoff, all of El Reno.
She was preceded in death by her husband in 1932, two daughters and one brother.
Burial was in the Strong City cemetery under direction of Martin funeral home, Elk City.
Mrs. Jarvis lived in Hammon before going to Elk City.

The daughter Ines Jarvis and son Willard"Bill" were twins*
