Dies in Sayre

F. L. Jarvis Rites
Will Be Wednesday

Funeral services for Floyd Lee Jarvis, 46, son of Mrs. Minnie Jarvis and brother of Mrs. Sam Montgomery and Mrs. Grant Jones, all of Elk City, will be held at 2:30 p. m. Wednesday in Sayre.

Mr. Jarvis died Sunday night in a Sayre hospital after having suffered a heart attack five days previously. He is an uncle of Mrs. L. E. Dick and Harley Maltby, Elk City.

He was born at Hammon(sic) and was married there in 1931 to Miss Ellen Oden.

Survivors include his wife; three sons, R. T., Keith and Ellis; a daughter, Judy, all of the home address; his mother, Mrs. Minnie Jarvis, Elk City; four sisters, Mrs. Montgomery, Mrs. Jones, Mrs. Lula Smith of Strong City and Mrs. Floyd Holder of Butler, and two brothers, Earl of Weatherford and Willard of Cheyenne.

Funeral services will be at the Assembly of God church with Rev. Nath Franks officiating.

Burial will be in the Sayre-Doxey cemetery with Scroggins funeral directors in charge of arrangements.
