Nobility. Born the daughter of Henry IV and Mary de Bohun. She married the eldest son of King Ruprecht in 1401 to strengthen the relationship between the two royal houses. Four years later she gave birth to a son who was named after the grandfather. In 1409 she was already six months pregnant when she was hit with a fever and died in Hagenau. She was buried one day later.English and German Royalty. Born at Peterborough Castle, Cambridgeshire, she was the daughter of Henry IV, King of England and Lady Mary de Bohun. She married Ludwig III Kurfürst von der Pfalz on 6 July 1402. She gave birth to a stillborn child five years later. She was invested as a Lady Companion, Order of the Garter in 1408. A second pregnancy resulted in her only surviving child 0n May 22, 1409 at Neustadt, Alsace, Blanche, however, did not survive. She was buried at Church of St. Mary, at what was Neustadt, Alsace, Germany.
