Nolan L. Bookout, 81, Muncie, died in his home Friday.
A native of Losantville, he lived in Muncie most of his life. He was self-employed as a house painter and home decorator. He enjoyed painting and poetry as hobbies.
Surviving is one brother, Clarence Bookout, Los Angeles.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday in Parson Mortuary. Burial will follow in Elm Ridge Cemetery. Friends may call 7-9 p.m. today and before the service Wednesday.
