Joseph Williams was born in Ireland about 1732 and came to America in 1750 with the Thomas Williams Welsh Colony. He fought in the French and Indiana War at the age of 21. He married "Mary (unknown) in 1771. They had seven children: James, Samuel, John, Margaret(Peggy), Elizabeth, Jane, and Abigail. Joseph severed America again during the Revolutionary War at the age of 48 years. In 1790 Joseph and his family moved from Virginia to Kentucky. Joseph died in 1810 at Wyoming, Bath County, Kentucky.
