Funeral services for John W. Moore, 82, of 7330 Rainier Ave., will be held at 2 o'clock tomorrow in the Columbia Funeral Home, with burial in Mount Pleasant. He died Saturday.
Mr. Moore, born in Lenoir City, Tenn., came to Seattle 41 years ago. He worked for the City Street Department for 15 years. He then went into business as an excavating contractor. He retired in 1929.
Surviving are his wife, Emily; a son, Alva S. Moore, Woodinville; a daughter, Mrs. Verda Ferrill, Seattle; a sister, Mrs. Dilla Hale, Mansfield, Mo.; eight grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.
