Graveside services were Wednesday, December 7, at Maplewood Cemetery, Luverne, Minnesota. Arrangements were by Washburn-McReavy Edina Chapel of Edina.
Margaret Elsie Nath was born March 16, 1921, in Luverne, the daughter of Matthaus and Agnes (Harmsen) Nath. She attended Zion Evangelical Lutheran School and graduated from Sanborn High School in 1939. She proudly served in the United State Navy for three years during World War II. After the war, she became employed with Northwestern Bell Telephone Company in Minneapolis for 41 years, until her retirement. She never married.
Surviving are one sister-in-law, Dorothy Nath of Phillips; two nieces, Kay (George) Sedivec and Patricia (David) Matthews; her cousin, three nephews, Martin (Patricia) Nolet and Gary (Sandi) Nath and Michael Nath; and several great-nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a step-father, one sister, Mildred Nath, one brother, Alvin Nath and one niece, Margaret Scharf.
