Sennett Young married Sarah Jane Crain 21~April~1870 Bath Co. Ky
Sarah Jane Crain born 20~April~1844 Fleming Co. Ky and died 10~July~1890 daughter of Samuel and Sarah Jane{Johnson}Crain, both parents were born in Ohio. Anna Mae{Bradley}Wyatt of Platte City, Mo states that her grandmother Sarah Jane Crain was of Indian descent. While a picture of Sarah Jane shows Indian characteristics, she probably was not a full blood.

Sennett Young Bradley aged 60 died of consumption, left behind 7 children. Sennett's trade was a blacksmith.

Sennett and Sarah Jane had 7 children.

2~ Arra or Ira Crain born 1873 and died 1940. {She married J.R. Vanlandingham.}
3~ Johnson M. born 9~17~1874 and died in Platte Co Mo
4~ Mary Bell born 1876 married John Atchison
5~ William Thomas born Jan~5~1880
6~ Johnny Taylor born Sept~7~1882
7~ George Lucas born August~4~1884 and died 1953.

VETERAN OF THE CIVIL WAR
Co D 24th Regt Ky Vol Inf. USA; mustered in 31~Dec~1861 Lexington Ky mustered out31~Jan~1865 Covington Ky. He was pensioned in 1892, and died of tuberculosis in 1893. Three of his children, William Thomas, John Taylor, and George Lucas, who were under 16 years of age at the time of their fathers death, were subsequently pensioned as minors. Records of Sennett Young's service and pension application can be obtained from Nat'l Archives, Washington D.C.
