Robert married 1851 Bath Co Ky to Pauline Mildred Allen[b-13- March 1831 Bath Co Ky d- 13-May-1867 daughter of John and Nancy Allen. To this union they had 5 children.

R.W. Bradley was born in Kentucky Feb 20, 1830 and died at his home 1 1/2 miles east of Waverly June 19, 1908 aged 78 years 3 months and 19 days.
From Kentucky he moved to Missouri remaining there until 5 years ago when he moved to his last home on the A.C. Cook farm which he purchased in 1903.
MR Bradley had been a member of the Church of Christ for 54 years. His wife preceded him in death 40 years ago. He was the father of 5 children 3 of whom were also called on before their father One daughter Mrs Williams could not be present at her father's funeral William Bradley being the only child present he and his children.
The services were conducted at the home by M.W. Kelly of the Church of Christ after which all that was earthly was laid to rest in the city cemetery.

Robert was 18 years old when he enlisted in the Mexican War. He was 5 feet 11 inches, complexion fair, color of eyes blue, color of hair dark, occupation was a farmer.
