Beulah May Bailey, 97, of Hayti Mo., died Wednesday, December 10, 2003, at Hayti.
Born Nov. 17, 1906, at Henderson, Tenn., daughter of the late Tom and Sally Houston Funderburk, she was a homemaker and member of First Baptist Church in Hayti.
On Oct 31, 1925, at New Madrid, Mo., she married Floyd Everett Bailey who preceded her in death July 3, 1980. She was also preceded in death by a son, Robert A. Bailey, Feb. 27. 1982; three brothers and one sister.
Survivors include one grandson, Bob Bailey, of Hayti; two great granddaughters, Vanella Bailey of Hayti and Ginger Whitfield of Bragg City, Mo.; a great-grandson, Jackson Bailey of Hayti; a great-great grandson, Jack Bailey of Hayti; seven other great-great-granchildren and a daughter-in-law Bonnie Bailey Greenwell of Memphis, Tenn.
Funeral services were at 11 a.m. Friday, Dec. 12, at John W. German Funeral Home Chapel in Hayti with Dr. Mike Melton officiating.
Burial was in Dry Bayou Cemetery north of Hayti.
Pallbearers were Bob Bailey, Randy Gardner, Jimmy Lee Wilson, Johnny McCullough, Stacy Whitfield and Gary Swan.
