Hindman Services

Funeral services for Mrs. Fran Hindman will be held on Saturday, May 8 at 2 p.m. at Seydler-Hill Chapel.
The Rev. Owen McGarity Jr. of the First Presbyterian church will officiate, with interment in the Odd Fellows cemetery.
She died on Thursday at 7:40 a.m. at her home.
Mrs. Hindman was born on April 21, 1932 in Seymour to Archie and Alma Barnett Adams. She was married on November 11, 1954 to Samuel Carroll Hindman, and he preceded her in death on October 2, 1976.
Mrs. Hindman had lived in Gonzales for 10 years, and was the owner of Twin Cedars Grocery and Hoskins Mens and Ladies Wear. She was a member of the Presbyterian church.
She is survived by one daughter, Miss Tammy Hindman; four brothers, Wiilard Adams of Arlington, Junior Adams of Denton, Bernie Adams of Arlington, and Jim Adams of Iowa Park. She was preceded in death by two sisters.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorials be made to the American Heart Association.
