Former Valley Resident Dies Of Heart Ailment
John R. Child 60, of San Bernardino Calif., former resident of Star Valley, passed away at his home May 21 of a heart ailment. He was the son of the late Orville R. and Eunice Dewey Child. He lived in Fairview and Afton until the past 20 years, when he made his home in California.
He married Myra Bryson of Fairview and they were the parents of ten children, all of whom survive. He is also survived by five sisters, Mrs Bert (Ella) Allred and Mrs. W.S. (Gene) Roberts of Ogden, Utah; Mrs Clarence (Emma) Wysong of Los Angeles, Calif.; Mrs Ed (Effie) Sessions of Afton; and Mrs W. A. (Verba) Taylor, of Idaho Falls, Idaho. They all attended the funeral services and burial May 25 at San Bernardino.
