Addison B Clingerman, 70, of Belle Vernon, R.D.2, Sweeney Plan, died Tuesday, June 24, 1997 at home.

Born March 19, 1927, in Monessen, he was the son of the late Alonzo B and Rosie Potts Clingerman.

Mr Clingerman was a member of First Christian Church, Monessen, where he was a member of the choir, and had been a former deacon.

He was also a member of the Rostraver Sportsman's Association.

He retired from USX Irvin Works.

In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his wife, Martha Jean Baker Clingerman, who died Oct 23, 1990; two sisters, LaVerda Johnson and LaRocca Boag; and a brother, Athlyn Clingerman.

Surviving are two sons and daughters-in-law; A Byron and Ginger Clingerman of Fombell, formerly of Rostraver Township, and Lonnie B and Ella Mae Clingerman of Buffalo, Wyo.; one brother Wade H Clingerman of Washington, Pa; two sisters, Maxine Hawkins of Monessen and Zolla Reed of Belle Vernon; five grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Friends will be received Wednesday from 7 to 9 p.m., and Thursday from 9 to 10 a.m. in the James C Stump Funeral Home, Inc, Sweeney Plan, Rostraver Township.

Friends will be received Wednesday from 7 to 9 p.m., and Thursday from 9 to 10 a.m. in the James C Stump Funeral Home, Inc, Sweeney Plan, Rostraver Township. Services will be held Thursday at 10 a.m. in the funeral home, with Rev Conrad Auel officiating. Additional services will take place Thursday at 2 p.m. in Fairview Christian Church, Artemas, Bedford County, followed by internment in Fairview Cemetery, Artemas. Arrangements are being handled by the James C Stump Funeral Home, Inc.
