JEANNE C. BINKLEY, 80, Lima, died at 11:15 a.m. May 7, 2005, at Lost Creek
Care Center.

She was born Jan. 21, 1925, in Lima, to Frank and Estelle Craun Conaghan. On. Sept. 13, 1946, she married Howard "Bud" Binkley, who survives in Lima.

Mrs. Binkley was a member of First Church of God at the Crossroads and had been a volunteer at Lima Memorial Hospital, accumulating more than 2,500 hours of service. She was a homemaker and beautician. She started The Vogue and later partnered to open The Venus. She later sold and worked for different salons.

Survivors also include a son, Larry (Andrea) Binkley of Ellicot, Md.; and three grandchildren, Ryan, Jonathan and Sara Binkley.

She was preceded in death by a son, Michael L. Binkley, who died March 30, 2005; and siblings Maurice, Don, Maxine, Lois, and an infant sister.

Services will begin at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Bayliff & Sons Funeral Home, Cridersville. Pastor Ken Love will officiate. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery, Lima.

Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made to First Church of God at the Crossroads, the American Cancer Society or St. Rita's Hospice.
