A. O. GIST, JR., 68 of Spring, passed away suddenly November 15, 2003 in Houston, Texas. He was born February 25, 1935 in Abilene, Texas and had recently moved back to the Houston area. He was a retired geologist having been employed by the Exxon Corporation. He is survived by his loving wife, Shirley; sons, Michael A. Gist and wife Julia, Gary N. Gist and wife Kim, Gregory L. Gist and wife Sharla; grandchildren, Emma, Claire, Neil, Kyle, Sean and Kelly; sisters, Cara Lee Brickell, Billie Marie Alexander and Patsy Ruth Watson. Visitation will be from 6-8pm on Monday at Klein Funeral Home with funeral services on Tuesday at 2pm at the Klein Funeral Chapel, 16131 Champion Forest Drive. Interment will follow in Klein Memorial Park-FM2920.
