Elizabeth F. "Betty" Albert, 78, of Butler, died at 9 a.m. Wednesday at Sunnyview Nursving Home.
Born Nov. 29, 1921, in Butler, she was the daughter of Newton and Florence (McKinley) Stepp.
She was a member of Saint Andrews United Presbyterian Church, Women of the Moose, and the Ham Radio operators.
Mrs. Albert had worked at the Butler County Humane Society and had been a Red Cross volunteer.
Surviving are a sister, Beverly Lescoult of Newport News, Va; and a number of nieces and newphews.
Her husband, Harry J. Albert, whom she married Dec. 5, 1941, died Dec. 14, 1996. She also was preceded in death by three sisters and two brothers.
Friends of Elizabeth F. "Betty" Albert, who died Wednesday, Jan. 19, 2000, will be received Friday...Burial will be at Butler County Memorial Park, Butler Township.
