William Henry Tucker, 93, of Low Moor, died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Virginia Waddell, Low Moor, on Thursday night.
Mr. Tucker was born Feb. 17, 1882 in Craig County, a son of the late Alex and Mariah Craft Tucker. He was a retired self-employed mechanic.
Mr. Tucker was a member of Covington Baptist Church and a life member of Covington Lodge No. 23 I.O.O.F.
Other than his daughter, he is survived by three grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, one great-great-granddaughter, and a number of nieces and nephews. His wife Mrs. Hattie Taylor Tucker died in July 1973.
A graveside funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday in Alleghany Memorial Park with the Rev. Billy Parker officiating.
The body is at the Arritt Funeral Home.
