H Everett (Hap) Hahn was born May 20, 1907, in Butler County and died Tuesday, Nov. 26, 1985, at the Schuyler Memorial Hospital in Schuyler.
Services for Mr. Hahn 78 were conducted Saturday morning, Nov. 30, from the First Presbyterian Church in Schuyler with the Rev. Ron Wakeman officiating. Mrs William Krula was the organist.
Pallbearers were Greg Kohout, Mike Dvorak, Russell Shonka, Al Sindelar, Jerry Connerley and Arnold Kluck. Burial was in the Schuyler Cemetery.
Everett Hahn was the son of George F. and Myrtle E. Easom Hahn He attended Octavia Public School graduating in 1928.
On Jan. 6, 1945, he was united in marriage to Olga H. Dvorak at Columbus. Two sons were born to this union.
He was a World War II veteran serving in the Army.
He had lived in the Schuyler area since 1947. A member of the First Presbyterian Church, he served on session twice and was a trustee and chairman of the memorial committee. He served as treasurer and on the Boards of Education of Colfax County Rural Districts 60 and 3 for many years.
Survivors include his wife, Olga, of Schuyler; two sons, Donald and David both of Schuyler; one brother Dean R. Hahn of Porterville, Calif.; one sister M. Fern Christiansen of Lincoln; and three grandchildren.
His parents preceded him in death.
