Born on November 25, 1952, in Derry Twp., Mifflin County, she was a daughter of the late Dale Boone and Rosella (Stover) Allison and her husband Richard Allison, of Millheim.
On September 27, 1975, she married her surviving husband, Stephen L. Renno, with whom she shared more than 36 years of marriage.
In addition to her husband, mother and stepfather, she is survived by her mother-in-law, Betty A. Renno, of Mifflintown, a brother, Lanny Boone, two sisters, Nanette Whitaker, of New Jersey, Deanna Boone-Domres, of Raleigh, NC, and she leaves behind several nieces and nephews.
Her beloved Bassett Hounds, Daisy and Dolly preceded her in death.
Mrs. Renno was a previous member of the Salem Lutheran Church, Aaronsburg, and her occupations varied from being a secretary to farm work.
Donna was a wonderful person, being a loving wife and daughter in law. She enjoyed being in nature and the outdoors, especially watching birds and animals as well as caring for animals. With her gift of music, she was accomplished at playing the piano, banjo, autoharp, guitar, and dulcimer.
Funeral services were private, and held at the Brown Funeral Homes, Inc., 100 Bridge St., Mifflintown, with the Rev. James B. Wooster, Jr. officiating. Interment was in the Westminster Presbyterian Cemetery, Mifflintown.
