Elsa Lanusse passed away peacefully at home in San Mateo with her family by her side at the age of 63. She was born in Stavanger, Norway on January 16, 1948 to her parents Bjarne and Grete Olberg. She moved to the US when she was 20 and stayed with her Aunt and Uncle in Millbrae. She met her loving husband, Jean Lanusse, at Burlingame High in a class to learn English. She has two devoted sons Mark and Eric. She was a strong woman who fought cancer for over 17 years but finally succumbed to the disease. She was loved by all and could always brighten someone's day. May your soul be at peace, you will be sorely missed.
Friends are invited to Visit at 9:30 a.m. on Thursday, December 15, 2011 and to attend a Funeral Service at 10:30 a.m. at Sneider & Sullivan & O'Connell's Funeral Home, 977 So. El Camino Real in San Mateo. Interment at Skylawn Memorial Park in San Mateo.
