Trudy Trahan Breaux, 64, a native of Bayou Black and resident of Houma, died Saturday, March 27, 2010. Visitation will be from 8 a.m. to funeral time today at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Bayou Black. Mass will be 10 a.m. today at the church, with burial in the church cemetery.
She is survived by one son, Mickey J. Breaux and wife, Michelle, of Chauvin; two daughters, Tracy B. Trosclair and husband, Ken, of Bayou Blue, and Tricia B. Atchley and husband, Kevin, of Houma; two brothers, Daniel Trahan and Michael Trahan of Houma; three sisters, Linda Pellegrin of Houma, Sharon Bergeron of Schriever, and Jacqueline Dominique of Gheens; and eight grandchildren, Ethan Breaux, Brianna Breaux, Justin Griffin, Koy Trosclair, Austin Atchley, Madison Atchley, Zoe Atchley and McKenzie Breaux; one great-grandchild, Kade Foret; and three godchildren, Tammy Grabert, Nolan Dominique and Wayne Champagne.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Philip J. Breaux; her parents, Clinton P. Trahan, and Etta Daspit Trahan Tastet and stepfather, Lawrence Tastet; one son, John John J. Breaux; one granddaughter, Brittany Porche; and one sister, Marietta Scott. She loved bingo, traveling, spending time with her family and friends and gardening. She worked at American Bank and Work Connection for 16 years. Samart Funeral Home of Houma is in charge of arrangements.
