Minerva Morales, "Sheena", 65, of Clovis, NM, died Monday, December 5, 2011, at her home in Clovis. Services will be held at 1:00 pm Friday, December 9, 2011, at Iglesia Apostelica de Lafe in Cristo Jesus with Pastor George Medina officiating. Burial will follow at Lawn Haven Memorial Gardens. Rudy Trevino, Michael Trevino, Ricardo Ramirez, John Paul Martinez, Ricardo Ramirez Jr., and Reyes Suniga will serve as pallbearers.
Sheena was born August 15, 1946, to Pablo and Maria (Hernandez) Cortez in Tyler, TX. She married Antonio Morales April 7, 2001, in San Angelo, TX. Sheena was a member at Iglesia Apostelica de Lafe in Cristo Jesus and enjoyed shopping, church, and spending time with family and friends.
Survivors include her husband, Antonio B. Morales of the home; three sons, Luis (Maricela) Ramirez of Clovis, NM, Ricardo (Nancy) Ramirez and Moses (Rose) Ramierez both of San Angelo, TX; two daughters, Melba Jo Ramirez of San Angelo, TX, and Amy Ramirez (Ramsey Marin) of Clovis, NM; two step daughters, Melissa Lopez of Lubbock, TX, and Helen (Ray) Suniga of Clovis, NM; two brothers; six sisters; 25 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Pablo and Maria; and sister, Alice Ramirez.
