Mrs. Scott died Tuesday, December 6, 2011, at Ridgecrest Nursing Home. She was a school teacher at Swartz Junior High School and Ouachita Parish Junior High School, and was a member of First Baptist Church of Swartz.
Mrs. Scott was preceded in death by her husband, Sidney L. Scott; three sisters, Charldean Venable, Sybil Boykin, and Gail Irwin; and brother, Jackie Irwin.
Survivors include her sons, Sidney Alan Scott and wife Sara, and Dennis L. Scott and wife Ronnie; four grandchildren, Stevie, Nick, Monica, and Tyler; and seven great grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Stevie Scott, Tyler Scott, Rick Scott, Blake McMilleon, Kenny Justice, and Nick Scott.
Visitation will be Thursday from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Mulhearn Funeral Home, Sterlington Road, Monroe.
