Mrs. Ida Allen Dead

Mrs. Ida Pearl Allen, 49, died in a San Antonio hospital Thursday morning. She was a resident of Gonzales. She is survived by her husband, W. E. Allen of Gonzales, six daughters, Mrs. T. N. Martindale of Port Arthur and Misses Edith, Mary, Hazel, Lillie and Ethel Allen, all of Gonzales two sons, James E. and Elmer Allen of Gonzales; two sisters, Mrs. Mattie Daniels of Ballinger and Mrs. J. B. Caldwell; three brothers, Jasper Cole of Gonzales and James and Thomas Cole of Ballinger. The body will be sent to Gonzales Friday morning. San Antonio Express.

Mrs. Allen was taken to San Antonio Sunday for surgical treatment for what was pronounced ulcer of the stomach. The news of her death is received with distinct sorrow by many friends of the family who reside in the Peach Creek section.

Her remains, accompanied by members of the family, are due to arrive here this afternoon over the Southern Pacific, after which funeral services will be conducted at the Nazarene church in this city. Interment will be made in the Odd Fellows cemetery.

In their sorrow the family have the deep sympathy of many friends.
