DIFFIN, Ruby Lucas - Of Lennon, MI, Hazelton Twp., age 78, passed away on Saturday, December 6, 2003 at McLaren Regional Medical Center, in Flint.
She was born July 9, 1925 in Ipswich, England, the daughter of Charles and Ruby (Page) Rusher. She married Don Lucas in 1944 in England; he predeceased her in 1987. She then married Edward Diffin 1990.; he survives her. She resided most of her life in England and Hazelton Township. She had attended the Methodist Church.
Surviving are: her husband, Edward; 2 daughters, Donna and Edward Sovis, Roxanne Cartwright and friend, Gary Palmer; 1 son, Roy and Sally Lucas; 8 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; 1 sister, Grace Jeffs of England. Predeceased by her husband, Donald Lucas and daughter, Sandra Bussell.
Funeral service will be 2PM Tuesday at the Whelpley-Martin Funeral Home, New Lothrop. Rev. Paul Amstutz will officiating with burial in Elmwood Cemetery.
