Edward L. Diffin age 87 of Durand, MI passed away Monday, September 28, 2015 at Durand Senior Care and Rehab Center. Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Thursday, October 1, 2015 at Watkins Brothers Funeral Homes of Durand. Pastor Paul Holland will be officiating. Burial to follow at Elmwood Cemetery in New Lothrop. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
Edward was born August 4, 1928 in Shiawassee County, a son of Clayton and Hazel (Curler) Diffin. He enjoyed dancing, hunting, and traveling. Prior to his retirement he had been employed by General Motors for many years.
Edward is survived by his children, Lorena, Dorie (Earl) Cushman, Pat (Jack) Silvers and Gina; 10 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; and brother, Calvin.
