CROWLEY, La. - Funeral services were held Tuesday in the First Methodist Church in Eunice for Joseph T. Hundley, 78, Eunice resident and retired state highway department foreman, who died Sunday evening in Columbia, Tenn., following a two-week illness. Burial was in M. Louis Cemetery.

Mr. Hundley, a native of the Prudhomme community, joined the highway department as a foreman In 1937, moving to Eunice at that time. He retired In 1962 after 25 years of service. He was an active member of the First Methodist Church In Eunice.

Survivors include his widow, Dottie White Hundley of Eunice; two sons, Clyde Hundley of Eunice and Joe Allen Hundley of Columbia, Tenn.; four brothers, Kelly Hundley of Branch, Celius Hundley of Crowley, Hillman Hundley of Eunice, and Billy Hundley of Sam Lake, Tex.; two sisters, Mrs. Eugene Griffin of Crowley and Mrs. Gentry Rigby of Dayton, Tex.; eight grand children; and six greatgrandchildren.
