Esther Delphine Kober, 48, Newcastle, WY, died Sunday, Oct. 26, 1986, in Rapid City, Regional Hospital.
She was born April 17, 1938, at Custer to Wesley and Mae (Arbogast) Palmer and attended Custer schools.
She married Richard Kober July 3, 1954 at Custer. They lived at Greybull, WY until moving to Newcastle in 1981.
She was a member of the Lutheran Church.
Surviving are her husband, Richard, Newcastle; three sons, Mark and David Kober of Newcastle, and Rick Kober, Powell WY; a daughter, Linda Meyer of Greybull; one granddaughter; three brothers, Charles Palmer of Laramie, WY; and Les and James Palmer of Custer; three sisters, Jeanne Harris of the Dalles, OR, and Nellie Nunez and Betty Sallee of Custer; and her parents, Mae and Wesley Palmer of Custer.
She was preceded in death by an infant son, Jeffrey, and a sister, Judy.
Funeral services were held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 29 at the American Lutheran Church, Custer, with Pastor Chuck Hazlett officiating. Interment was in the Custer Cemetery.
