A mass is scheduled for 5:30 p.m. Friday at St. John's Catholic Church for Alfred Fresquez Jr., 59, of 1009 S. Virginia Ave., who died of natural causes at 10:55 p.m. Wednesday at St. Mary's Hospital. Burial is scheduled at South Park Cemetery. Mr. Fresquez was born April 3,1923, in Lincoln to Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Fresquez Sr., both now deceased. Formerly of Los Angeles,Calif., Fresquez was a Roswell resident for 13 years. He was a janitor at the Roswell Rehabilitation Center.
Survivors include two daughters, Ida Allenberger and Irene Delharo; a son, Alfred Fresquez III, all of Los Angeles; a sister, Paley Lueras of Carrizozo; two brothers, Bonnie Fresquez and Ramon Pacheco; and a step father, Candelaro Griego, all of Roswell.
