Gentle and loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother and friend, Franklin Brown Peterson, age 78, died June 9, 1993, in Salt Lake City, Utah.
Born November 29, 1914, in Loa, Utah, to William David and Orilla Evelyne Brown Peterson. Married Colleen White June 6, 1952, in Bicknell, Utah; solemnized August 19, 1964 in the Salt Lake Temple.
Loved fishing, hunting, and the great outdoors. He was a modern mountain man, and skilled master carpenter.
Survived by his wife; children, Craig and Marla; Jim and Kathleen; Frank and Charlotte; Brent and Tawnya; 13 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; brother, Ray; sisters, Vida, Carma, Laraine, and Marjean. Preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Wayne and Ralph; sister, Pauline; and grandson, Steven.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, June 12, 1 p.m., Winder 2nd Ward, 1361 East 4000 South. Friends may call at Larkin Mortuary, 260 East South Temple, Friday, 6-8 p.m., and Saturday, at the ward, one hour prior to services.
Interment, Redwood Memorial Estates.
