Della M. Clark passed away at the age of 96 on September 6, 2012. She was born in Byron, California on May 3, 1916 to James and Della Wilder. Della was a loving mother and grandmother as well as a foster mother. She cared for severely handicapped children as though they were her own. She was a long time member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church and more recently English Oaks in Lodi.Della was preceded in death by her loving husband of 70 years Ronald Clark, her parents, and 2 brothers. Della is survived by her 2 sons; Ronald and Delbert Clark, daughter Ronna Miles, sister Doris Shera, 9 grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren, nieces and newphews. Della will be dearly missed by her family and friends.A Graveside Service will be held at 11am Thursday, September 13, 2012 at the Byron Brent-Knightsen Union Cemetery, 11545 B. Blvd, Brentwood, Contra Costa County, CA. Cherokee Memorial Funeral Home is honored to serve the Clark Family.
