He was a retired farmer and a member of the Woodmen of the World.
Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Lillie Casey Powell; a daughter, Mrs. Dwight (Margaret) Bledsoe of Johnston; a sister, Mrs. Annabelle Abrams of Aiken; and three grandchildren.
Services will be 2:30 p.m. today at Rocky Creek Baptist Church.
Burial will be in Mount of Olives Cemetery.
