Fremont J. Treadwell

Fremont J. Treadwell, 68, of 119 Fond du Lac Street, Plymouth, died of a heart attack at his home sometime Monday night.

He was born in the town of Plymouth June 1,1887, a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Erwin Treadwell. He attended the Plymouth Public school and in 1904 was graduated from the Plymouth high school. He also attended the Sheboygan Business college and for the past 26 years was employed at the Plymouth utilities plant.

January 31, 1917 he was married to Edna Roehr in Milwaukee. The couple moved to the town of Plymouth and in 1928 settled in the city of Plymouth. His wife preceded him in death in October 1941.

He is survived by a son Edward of Chicago, a daughter of Mrs. Frances (Marie) Wieser of the town of Plymouth and four grandchildren. In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by a daughter.

Funeral services will be held Friday at 1:30 PM at the Witkopp funeral home, Plymouth the Rev. Samuel Bullough, pastor of the First Congregational Church, Plymouth will conduct the services and the burial in the Woodlawn Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 PM Thursday.
