Joseph L. Wilcox, 78, died this morning at North Plains Hospital.

He had resided with his daughter, Mrs. Austin Minton, 1230 Roosevelt, for the past two years.

Survivors include four daughters, Mrs. Cecil McGregor, Corpus Christi; Mrs. J.F. Alexander, Borger; Mrs. Jack Temple, Kerrville, Tex.; Mrs. Austin Minton, Borger; four sons, Albert, Houston; Harold, Corpus Christi; Roscoe, Beaumont; Les, Corpus Christi; three sisters, Mrs. Loretta Ridgway, Burbank, Calif.; Mrs. Leslie Lee, Omaha, Neb.; Mrs. H.G. Nelson, Marshal Town, Iowa; two brothers, T.J., Ames, Iowa; O.W., Boone, Iowa; 17 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday in the chapel of the Cage-Mills Funeral Home in Corpus Christi, with the Rev. John Donahoe, pastor of the First Methodist Church in Corpus Christi, officiating.

Interment will be made in the Rose Hill cemetery, under the direction of the Minton Funeral Home.
