C. F. ABRAHAMSON, 86, OF RED OAK DIED NEAR STANTON
Claus Fredrik Abrahamson, 86, died yesterday morning at the home of his daughter, Mrs. S. Applquist, south of Stanton, Death resulted from complications.
Mr. Abrahamson is survived by 6 children; C. A. Abrahamson, Mrs. A. T. Johnson, A. E. Abrahamson, and MRs. Andrew Pearson of Red Oak; Mrs. S. T. Applequist of Stanton, and N. J. Abrahamson, of Sloan, Iowa.
Funeral services will be held at the home tomorrow afternoon at 1:30 o'clock followed by services at the Swedish Mission Church here at 3 o'clock. Rev. G. S. Hawkinson, pastor, will preach the sermon. Burial will be made in the Evergreen Cemetery.
Mr. Abrahamson was born in Hylte, Bringetofta, Jönköpings Län, Småland, Sweden on October 19, 1842. He left the land of his birth in 1868, coming to American and settling first at Andover, Illinois. He came to Red Oak in 1872. In the same year he was married here to Johanna Nelson, who came from Illinois. Mrs. Abrahamson departed this life in 1913. Mr. Abrahamson had been a member of the Mission Church for many years. He farmed in Page County and then moved to Red Oak, where he had made his home over twelve years.

Klas Fredrik Abrahamsson, son of Abraham Carlsson and Anna Stina Jönsdotter was born October 14, 1842 in Hylte, Bringetofta, Jönköpings Län, Småland, Swedenand died March 27, 1929 near Stanton, Iowa. He married Johanna Sophia Nilsson on February 14, 1872 in Red Oak, Iowa.
