Louisa S. Mills was the daughter of Ansel and Elizabeth (Betsey) [Ripley] Mills of Pamelia, Jefferson Co., New York. In June 1850 she was married to George Henry Countryman of Le Ray Twp., Jefferson County. Her death likely resulted from the birth of her son, Henry M. Countryman.
